Throughout 2021 we explored terminology and best practices for a healthier home and planet. Recognizing brands committed to social responsibility and sustainable practices, by creating better workplaces, supporting local communities and providing transparency in their manufacturing practices. We are encouraged that sustainability continues to be a growing trend for 2022. Here's a sneak peek at a few areas we will be highlighting as we kick off a sustainable 2022!
Sustainable Trends 2022

Biophilia - We defined the term and shared the history, let's continue to bring the outside in with colors inspired by nature, materials that are natural and tactile, and shapes that are organic.

Sensory Experiences - Take a moment for yourself. Music, candles, lighting, posture, attire, food all influence our mood and well being.

Circular Economy - Upcycling, recycling, repurposing more and more people are looking for ways to reduce waste and carbon footprints. Buying vintage celebrates history and keeps items out of our landfills.

Responsible Companies & Slow Ethos - Shop small businesses with values that resonate with your own and stories of neighbor helping neighbor.

Work From Home - Our homes need spaces that morph with our needs. Whether it is everyday, once in a while, just you or every member of your family, working from home is here to stay and we want to help you make it more productive and less stressful.
Sustainability looks different for everyone and no matter where you are in the spectrum we hope you stay with us this year as we continue to highlight positive steps we can all take in our homes and in our lives to support a healthy lifestyle and planet.
